Project submission timeline is:
- JULY 2021: Application Released
- DECEMBER 31, 2021: Application Closes
- JANUARY 2022: ITD will conduct analysis on submitted freight projects.
- FEBRUARY 2022: The Idaho Freight Advisory Committee will consider projects and develop a prioritized list.
- FEBRUARY 2022: ITD will conduct an internal evaluation based on the analysis results and Freight Advisory Committee prioritization.
- Projects included in the Idaho Freight Plan
- Summer 2022: Selected projects will be incorporated into the Idaho Transportation Investment Plan (ITIP) process.
- Project execution time period is 2024-2029.
CRFC/CUFC Submission timeline is:
- July, 2021: CRFC/CUFC validation/application window opens
- October 1, 2021: CRFC/CUFC validation/application window closes CRFC/CUFC validation or applications sent to: ITD, Attn: Scott Luekenga, PO 7129, Boise, ID 83707 or email to: Scott.luekenga@itd.idaho.gov.
- October, 2021: ITD will evaluate submittals
- November, 2021: The Idaho Freight Advisory Committee will consider CRFC & CUFC updates
- December, 2021: ITD will conduct an internal evaluation based on the analysis results and Freight Advisory Committee prioritization
- January, 2022: Updated CRFC & CUFC will be submitted to the Transportation Board for consideration and approval. Transportation Board approved CRFC and CUFC will be incorporated into the ITD’s Freight Plan.
