This is a great opportunity to seek funding to repair roads and bridges that were damaged during last spring’s weather events. Please consider applying for Emergency Relief Regardless of the severity of damage. This can include seeking reimbursement for repairs you made, or to help fund repairs you have not constructed. To date, all eligible projects have been funded.

The Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) Panel, in cooperation with the Idaho Office of Emergency Management (IOEM) will be opening up a 5th opportunity for local jurisdictions to submit applications for funding from the Emergency Relief Fund (ERF). The application, along with application guidance, eligibility requirements, and prioritization of projects can be found at www.IOEM.idaho.gov under the Hot Topics link.
ERF funds will be awarded to local government agencies and private non-profit organizations for the permanent repair or restoration of roadway infrastructure. Projects must meet PAPPG (Public Assistance Program and Policy Guide) Category C eligibility. Applications must be complete to be considered and will be scored based on content and supporting documentation. Funding for eligible projects will be on a reimbursement basis.
Project applications will be accepted February 1, 2018 to February 28, 2018. Applications will be approved/denied by March 15, 2018. Please direct any questions or concerns to IOEM at 208-258-6588 or 2017ERF@imd.idaho.gov
- Projects must meet Public Assistance Program and Policy Guide (PAPPG) Category C eligibility.
- Applications must be complete to be considered.
- Funding will be on a reimbursement basis, however financial hardship accommodations may be made.
If you did not apply in the previous rounds, have a completed project without being awarded reimbursement, or have outstanding projects that should be completed please consider applying for the 5th round of funding.
