Transportation Workshop (District 2 Postponed)

Announcement from ITD: District 2 Event Postponed
Transportation Partners,
 
At the Idaho Transportation Board meeting on March 18th, Director Brian Ness announced the postponement of our District 2 Transportation Workshop with the Idaho Transportation Board scheduled in Lewiston for April 15th.  When this meeting is rescheduled, invitations and announcements will be sent.  The department plans to conduct the other workshops, starting in May, as originally scheduled.  ITD will follow guidance from the Governor’s Office regarding public meetings and will update any plans as guidance evolves. Stormwater Pollution Control

There is still time to register for Nevada LTAP‘s online training for Stormwater Pollution Control. This workshop is being held March 26, 8:00 am–12:00 pm with a live instructor and addresses the construction, inspection, and maintenance of stormwater pollution control measures.

The registration fee is $30 per participant.

  • Background of construction stormwater pollution control regulations.
  • Construction site stormwater inspections procedures.
  • Installation techniques of pollution control measures.
  • Proper maintenance of sediment and erosion control measures.

Now available – ATSSA accelerates release of online course for pandemic response and prevention

The Training Department had been slated to launch a new segment of online training addressing human resources and workplace safety issues later this spring but out of heightened concerns for the health and safety of members amid COVID-19, Vice President of Member Services Donna Clark authorized early release of one course.
