Application Due Dates
- Local Rural Highway Investment Program (LRHIP) – Due December 2, 2025, by 4 PM (MDT) by hand delivery or mailed.
- Federal-aid: Small Urban – Due January 8, 2026, by 4 PM (MDT) by hand delivery or mailed.
- (REVISED) Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) – Due January 22, 2026, by 4 PM (MDT) / 3 PM (PDT) electronically at APPLICATIONS@LHTAC.org.
- Pre-application items due January 15, 2026
- Federal-aid: Bridge – Due January 22, 2026, by 4 PM (MDT) by hand delivery or mailed.

Bid Opening - January 2026
LHTAC will publicly open bids at its offices at 3330 Grace Street, Boise, ID. Openings will also be live-streamed via Microsoft Teams. Viewers can enter the Bid Opening meeting here on January 29, 2026, at 3 P.M MT.

Quarterly Reports - Q2
The Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (LHTAC) provides an important linkage between Local Highway Jurisdictions (LHJs) and the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) in the utilization of Federal-aid highway funds available to the LHJs in Idaho. These quarterly progress reports include the status listing of current and upcoming LHTAC projects for each district.

LHTAC Offices Augmented Hours
LHTAC staff are operating on an augmented schedule.
M-Th: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Fri: 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Sat-Sun: Closed
The LHTAC offices will be open and phones will be staffed during these times. For after hours contacts, please visit our staff page.
