FREE OSHA-Authorized Training

The Pacific Northwest OSHA Education Center, College of Eastern Idaho Workforce Training & Continuing Education, and the Idaho Safety Fest sponsors are excited to offer free OSHA-authorized training in Idaho Falls during summer 2020. House T&I Advances Surface Transportation Reauthorization

After a marathon two-day markup session, the House of Representatives Transportation & Infrastructure Committee passed its $494 billion surface transportation reauthorization bill on June 18 by a party-line vote of 35 to 25.

Altogether 34 Republican amendments and 23 Democratic amendments to the bill – entitled Investing in a New Vision for the Environment and Surface Transportation or the INVEST in America Act – were adopted.

FoRRRwD with the Systemic Approach: Prioritizing Locations and Projects

The Every Day Counts round five (EDC-5) initiative, Focus on Reducing Rural Roadway Departures (FoRRRwD), features four pillars: Addressing All Public Roads, Systemic Approach, Safety Action Plans, and Proven Countermeasures.
