Idaho Accepting Online Flagger Course Through Oct. 7

ITD announced on April 7th that they will allow lenience on flagger certifications expiring after October 19, 2019 and will allow flaggers to be certified via online training on projects for the next six (6) months, after which only flaggers certified through in-person training will be allowed.

Note: This option has been made temporary in response to COVID-19.

Federal-Aid Rankings and Draft ITIP Inclusions

The Federal-aid Bridge, Small Urban Transportation Plans, and Rural scores and rankings were approved at the March 13, 2020 LHTAC Council Meeting. Below you will find the rankings and what has been submitted in the Draft ITIP.

Local Rural Highway Investment Program LRHIP Cut Lines Announced

The Local Rural Highway Investment Program (LRHIP) scores and rankings were approved at the March 13, 2020 LHTAC Council Meeting. At the time of the LHTAC meeting the Idaho Transportation Board had not approved the revisions to the Administrative and Board policies. The two policies lay out some of the rules for the program and set the exchange rate.

On April 16th, 2020 the new policies were approved and adopted by the Idaho Transportation Board, the updated rankings below now show cut lines. 

Award notification letters will start going out by mail next week.
