Toward Zero Scholarships

ATSSA Toward Zero Scholarships – The Foundation provides travel scholarships for children who have lost a parent, sibling, or caregiver to a roadway work zone accident until we can reduce the number of work zone deaths. It is our hope to eventually give out zero scholarships as a result of zero fatalities.

Summer Camps for Children of Fallen Roadway Workers

The Foundation provides financial support for travel to an Experience Camps location for children who have lost a parent, sibling, or caregiver to a roadway work zone accident.

Experience Camps are one-week camps for boys and girls who have experienced the death of a loved one. Experience Camps offers a safe environment that helps build confidence, encourages laughter and allows these children to navigate their grief through friendship, teamwork, athletics, and the common bond of loss.

Experience Camps provide a free registration to attend the camp. The Foundation created the Experience Camps Travel Scholarship program to cover 100% of the travel expenses for children to travel to these summer camps, which means that no cost is incurred by the camper’s family.

Please share this information with families of fallen roadway work zone workers.
The application deadline is July 1
