ITD’s Guidance on Flagger Certifications and Traffic Control Supervisors

As of April 1, 2021 only flaggers certified via in-person training are allowed to work on projects. However, flaggers certified through an ATSSA or Evergreen Safety Council online course prior to April 1, 2021 may continue to be allowed on projects under the certain conditions.

LHTAC Construction Maps

Please see the maps below outlining LHTAC’s expected projects for construction for 2021 and 2022. Please note the projects circled in white are not yet out to bid. LHTAC is anticipating bidding for 2021 projects to follow the same pattern as 2020. Funding will be obligated based upon continuing resolutions from the Federal Government. If additional funding were to be available over the course of the next year, one or several of the projects on the 2022 map could advance into 2021.

The 2020 Supplemental Specifications have been published and are available HERE. Please remember, specifications continue to evolve and change. ITD wants to continue to hear input from all users of the specifications to continuously improve them.
