We would like to inform you about the upcoming Fostering Livability on Commercial Highways and Arterial Streets webinar. This webinar is part of the Context Sensitive Design and Solutions webinar series and is sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration’s Office of Planning, Environment, & Realty and Project for Public Spaces. This webinar will explore how the City of University Place and the City of Charlotte implemented strategies to improve walkability from automobile-dominated commercial roadways into multi-modal corridors as a result of changes in infrastructure redesign, transit access, street design standards, and land use policy.
