Free IPDES E-Permitting Training for Storm Water Permits and Biosolids

On July 1, 2021, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will become the authority responsible for NPDES Storm Water permits and Biosolids activities in Idaho [1].

In preparation for the transition, DEQ is providing free Idaho Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (IPDES) E-Permitting training for applicants and permittees in the following sectors:

  1. Construction General Permit (CGP) and Low Erosivity Waivers
  2. Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP) and No Exposure Certificates

This training is intended primarily for the certifying official or duly authorized representative[2] who will be the facility’s E-Permitting “Administrator.” However, other appropriate personnel responsible for entering, editing, and/or submitting information may also attend.

Due to COVID-19, the IPDES E-Permitting training will be only offered online. Advanced registration is not required.
