LHTAC is pleased to announce that we’ve recently hired 2 new employees to fill our vacant staff positions. They will be working as part of the Federal-aid Design team, covering separate regions of the state. Our Federal-aid Engineers assist Local Highway Jurisdictions (LHJs) in preparing projects and contracts for submission for federal funding participation. They also assist LHJs in selecting and managing project consultants to develop contract bid documents and associated documents for constructing transportation facilities.

We are excited to finally be back at our full staff level so we can provide more assistance and service to our LHJs. Our new engineers will be highlighted with a short biography in our March 2016 LHTAC Times Newsletter.
