Join us for a half-day summit on April 13, where we have a cadre of national speakers coming to Boise to discuss roadway design and how it has an impact on the health of our community. The focus is to offer to the community different thought on street design, promoting “people-centered” street and road design. Our community needs to think about all modes of transportation, how the ROW can be used effectively, and how this can lead to a better built environment – we hope this summit aids in the discussion.
As Chair of the ULI Idaho District Council, I would appreciate your support in attending as well as attendance of many of the members of ISPE. Your help in getting the word out about the summit would be appreciated. Activating the street for pedestrians, providing safer modes for all transit and offering a variety of uses of the ROW enhances the urban fabric, ultimately increasing the vibrancy of a city and the health of a community.
