Potential Federal Funding Available to Locals

Idaho is preparing to request Federal-aid Disaster Relief funding for the Federal-aid system. To qualify your damage or destroyed roadway must be on the Federal-aid System (FAS) and in a county where the Governor has declared a disaster. If you believe your roadway is eligible, please fill out the Highway Damage Estimate Form and send it back to Laila at LHTAC at LKral@lhtac.org. After the form is received, somebody from LHTAC will be contacting you to follow up regarding the cost of both temporary and permanent repairs.

If the damage is to roadways located off the FAS, please continue to work with your County’s Emergency Management Coordinator. They will be able to assist with the FEMA process, and with the additional funding available from the state.
