We are happy to announce and release a grant funding opportunity through the One-Time Application. Public Transportation providers throughout Idaho can submit a one-time application beginning August 22nd, 2016 for a share of more than $1.2 million in funding available statewide, within the 5310 (Elderly & Disabled), 5339 (Bus & Bus Facilities), and the Vehicle Investment Program (VIP). The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is hosting a training workshop on 3D Modeling and Automated Machine Grading (AMG). The workshop will highlight the technologies used in developing the grade separated Thornton Interchange. The Thornton Interchange is currently under construction and the workshop participants will be given an on the job experience in addition to classroom style presentations. (more…)
