LHTAC Workshops Fall 2016

Due to an overwhelming response, we have moved our Boise workshop location to accommodate the amount people RSVP’d for this event.

Fall Workshops:
Hear a firsthand update from LHTAC on pertinent information regarding the local transportation community. We will be discussing funding applications (Rural, Urban, Bridge, LRHIP, and LHSIP), 129,000 Pound Truck Routes, new reporting methods for Highway Distribution Account (HDA) funds, updates on the Transportation Alternative Program (TAP), and Federal Lands Access Program (FLAP).

June 2016 Progress Status Reports

The Local Highway Technical Assistance Council provides an important linkage between Local Highway Jurisdictions and the Idaho Transportation Department in the utilization of Federal-aid highway funds available to the LHJs in Idaho.  These quarterly progress reports include the status listing of current and upcoming LHTAC projects for each district.

Residents review bridge plans

CALDWELL — Residents at a meeting Thursday reviewed four possible locations for a new bridge that would move vehicles across the Boise River, allowing the Old Highway 30 bridge to be used for pedestrians only.
