Attention Locals – ITD is looking for your feedback

DRAFT Idaho Transportation Investment Program (ITIP)

Comment Period Extended – August 26, 2016

The Idaho Transportation Department is providing this draft of the FY17 to FY21 ITIP to allow transportation agencies and the public to review and provide comments on the program.

LHTAC entered projects into the draft program based on ranking of applications and available funds. We started with #1 and move down the list as the estimated funds were distributed. The Draft ITIP is available for public comment July 1-30, 2016 (Note: Now Extended to August 26th). The ITIP will not be final until the IT Board approves it in September. Please view the applications ranking with projects included in the draft program below:

Upgrades planned for Old Highway 30 bridge

CALDWELL — Highway district officials and the city of Caldwell would like to transform the Old Highway 30 bridge into a pedestrian pathway and build a new bridge to provide vehicular transport.

Officials will present four possible locations for where a new bridge could be constructed and gather public input on the bridge project at 4 p.m. Thursday (July 7, 2016) at the Canyon Highway District No. 4 office.

DRAFT ITIP Comment Period

The comment period started Friday, July 1. It lasts through Saturday, July 30.

The draft Idaho Transportation Investment Program (ITIP) lists proposed projects for the next five years, and includes programmed improvements to highways, bicycle routes, pedestrian projects, safety projects, bridges and public transportation. The draft ITIP can be viewed at:
