House Bill 442

Great news!

On February 15, 2018 the Governor signed House Bill 442, the bill appropriating and transferring the funds for the Strategic Initiatives Program. Award outcome letters will be mailed out next week. Those agencies who were successful will also receive a program agreement which needs to be signed/returned as soon as possible.

We are grateful for the quick work from the Legislature and the Governor to correct the drafting error from 2017 and look forward to reporting on the successful projects next spring. Please reach out to your legislator thanking them for supporting local transportation funding through HB 442.

Local Agency Training and Technical Assistance Needs Assessment

The Federal Highway Administration is requesting your participation in the Local Agency Training and Technical Assistance Needs Assessment. The Idaho LHTAC T2 Center is a Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) center. When taking the Assessment, whenever the survey asks about the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) Center, they are referencing the T2 Center. The two terms could be used interchangeably for the purpose of the assessment. The following questions specifically reference LTAP or T2 Centers; Q27, Q31, and Q34.

On behalf of FHWA, thank you for your participation. (more…)
