Small Bridge Inventory

Attention Consultants,

LHTAC is in-process of collecting data on local bridges and culverts 10-20 feet in length. We’ve reached out to our Local Highway Jurisdictions (LHJs) and now realize that some of this information we are searching for is included in their transportation plan or other inventory documents created by partnering consultants. If you have information on an LHJ’s small bridges please reach out to us so we can avoid duplication. We will be sending LHTAC staff members to collect and train locals to collect bridge data this summer. Our goal is to collect basic information on all 10-20 ft local bridges by the year 2020 for all 288 LHJs across Idaho. We appreciate all you do for our locals and we want to thank you for working together with on this.

If you have any questions give us a call.

Questions can be directed to Garrick Nelson or Susan Lasuen at 208-344-0565.

Spending a Second on Your Phone Could Equal a Life-Changing Mistake

In 2017, distracted driving claimed 3,166 lives. While there was an 8% decrease in fatalities in 2017 from 2016, there is still a lot of work to do to end these preventable tragedies.

Whether you are on the phone, texting, checking your hair, or reaching down for a burger and fries, you are robbing yourself of seconds that can be the difference between a close call and a deadly crash.

Regardless of the law in your state, you should be asking yourself, “What can I do? And how do I keep my family safe?”
Distracted Driving Awareness Month is a great time to reflect on the choices that you make while behind the wheel and to take action in your community to help stop distracted driving.
