Register for ATSSA Grant Courses

ATSSA Traffic Control Grant Courses

Control Courses American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) was awarded a four-year grant from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to provide roadway safety training nationwide for workers and others who make their livelihood on America’s roadways.

This allows ATSSA to offer a special fee of $25 per person/per class for the following classes:

May 6, 2014 – Traffic Control Technician-Grant

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Registration Fees: $25

May 7-8, 2014 – Traffic Control Supervisor-Grant

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

New Spring Schedule

Registration for the 2014 Spring T2 Classes opened Monday, February 3rd.

Please note:

  • Some class locations are still being determined and will be updated on the class calendar
  • Additional classes may be added so please be sure to check our website for new classes and updates
  • To request a specific class in your area, please email us at idahot2@lhtac.org and indicate the number of people committed to attend
  • Road Scholar/Road Master requirements have recently changed
  • All classes start at 8:30 a.m. unless noted otherwise
  • Attendees will have an one-hour lunch break (lunch not provided)
  • An invoice will be mailed out once the course is complete

Cancellation Policy:  Notice of cancellation must be received at least two business days prior to the class; all no-shows will be charged.  Registration cancellations can be completed by logging on to our site with your user name and password or by contacting the T2 Center directly at  208-344-0565 or at 1-800-259-6841.

New Year and New Changes to the Road Scholar Program

The Road Scholar/Road Master Program is managed at a state level to provide training in the latest road-related technologies and innovation to all transportation workers. The Idaho Road Scholar Program is a way for local road professionals in our state to be recognized for successfully completing a series of training courses. The program curriculum is designed to provide participants with the fundamentals of safety, management, and advanced technologies, as well as exposure to a wide variety of other topics relevant to the transportation field. Through this program, the local agencies will also be provided an opportunity to develop the agencies’ greatest asset – its employees. (more…)
