Idaho Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Curb Ramp Program

The Idaho Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Curb Ramp Program is a state-administered program that provides funding for projects to address curb ramps on the state highway system. The goal of the program is to provide accessible facilities for pedestrians with disabilities while allowing local jurisdiction flexibility in meeting the required standards. (more…)

LHTAC is looking for YOUR FEEDBACK!

Public Comments on LHTAC’s Funding Applications will be taken March 23rd through April 6th.

The Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (LHTAC) will be accepting comments and suggestions for improvements on our current funding applications. Areas open for comment include: the application process, format of applications, questions/scoring etc.

Comments must be submitted to lhtac@lhtac.org by April 6, 2015. Please use LHTAC APPLICATION COMMENTS in the subject field of the email.

Prior to new applications coming out in fall of 2015, the LHTAC Council will review and take into consideration the comments received. Changes to applications will be approved at the September Council meeting and will appear in the final release of applications in fall of 2015.

Idaho Operation Lifesavers Grant Opportunities

The Idaho Transportation Department, Office of Highway Safety invites agencies that have highway/rail intersections within their jurisdiction to apply for a federal fiscal year (FFY) 2015 “Adopt A Crossing” Highway Safety Grant. The grant program is intended to reduce the number of motor vehicle train crashes to assist Idaho in the move toward our long term goal of “Toward Zero Deaths.” (more…)

ITD Grant Applications

ITD’s – Public Transportation Group is eager to announce the release of three additional applications:  Service Provider; Capital Asset; and a one-time funding for Rural Capital Asset projects (i.e. shovel ready).

Public transit organizations are encouraged to apply.

2015 FLAP Request for Proposals

The Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD) of the Federal Highway Administration is soliciting for capital improvement, enhancement, surface preservation, transit, planning, and research proposals to receive funds through the Idaho Federal Lands Program in fiscal years 2018 and 2019.
