2020 Photo Contest Winners

3rd Annual LHTAC Local Roads Photo Contest

We want to thank everyone who submitted photos.

The winner of this year’s photo contest is Andy Zahrn from Civil Science with a construction photo of Fremont County’s Ora Bridge. His photo will be published as our next cover photo on the LHTAC website and will be used in the FY20 Annual Report. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place photos will be printed, framed and displayed in the LHTAC office with credit to the photographers. Winners will also receive a framed copy of their photo. All photos submitted will be used in future LHTAC marketing materials, including the 2021 LHTAC promotional calendar.

The AASHTO TSP-2 program, through the National Local Agency Outreach Working Group, is pleased to announce a Bridge Preservation Training for Local Agencies.  This training is specifically designed as an introductory to understanding the basics of bridge preservation and is geared towards meeting the needs of local agencies.

FREE OSHA-Authorized Training

The Pacific Northwest OSHA Education Center, College of Eastern Idaho Workforce Training & Continuing Education, and the Idaho Safety Fest sponsors are excited to offer free OSHA-authorized training in Idaho Falls during summer 2020. These 1-day trainings are open to the public, and COVID-19 safety precautions will be followed.
