Presidential Declaration for February 2017 Flooding

Deadline extended until June 8 at 4 p.m.

President Trump signed a disaster declaration for the severe winter storms and flooding from February 5-27, 2017. The counties included in the declaration are:

  • Bingham
  • Cassia
  • Elmore
  • Franklin
  • Gooding
  • Jefferson
  • Jerome
  • Lincoln
  • Minidoka
  • Twin Falls
  • Washington

Toward Zero Scholarships

ATSSA Toward Zero Scholarships – The Foundation provides travel scholarships for children who have lost a parent, sibling, or caregiver to a roadway work zone accident until we can reduce the number of work zone deaths. It is our hope to eventually give out zero scholarships as a result of zero fatalities. (more…)

New Engineer

Amanda LaMott, PE – Tap/Safety Engineer

Amanda will be the primary Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) project manager and will be administering LHSIP projects for LHTAC’s Safety group. Amanda comes to us from the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) with 8 years of experience at District 3 and ITD HQ where she spent time in bridge, construction, project development, and planning & scoping.
