Bidding thresholds for PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION projects now begin at $50,000.
Below $50,000 there is no requirement for competitive bidding. $50,000 to $200,000 is the informal bidding method, where a jurisdiction must solicit at least three bids from licensed public works contractors selected by the jurisdiction. ATSSA Toward Zero Scholarships – The Foundation provides travel scholarships for children who have lost a parent, sibling, or caregiver to a roadway work zone accident until we can reduce the number of work zone deaths.
