FEMA Managing Floodways Trainings in June

Registration is now live for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) first-ever virtual offering of the Managing Floodways in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) Training, occurring in June 2021, hosted by FEMA Region 10, Floodplain Management and Insurance (FM&I) Branch. Please join us for this 2.5-hour training to learn about key information and methodologies for managing the floodway, including implementation of community floodway standards and higher standards, no-rise certifications, and floodway modifications. LHTAC’s Funding Programs and Applications – Survey

April Open Comment Period
Every April we solicit your feedback in the form of an open comment period. 

The LHTAC Council reviews and takes into consideration all comments and feedback received. Any changes to applications are approved at the September Council meeting and appear in the final release of applications in the fall.

Free IPDES E-Permitting Training for Storm Water Permits and Biosolids 

On July 1, 2021, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will become the authority responsible for NPDES Storm Water permits and Biosolids activities in Idaho [1].
 
In preparation for the transition, DEQ is providing free Idaho Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (IPDES) E-Permitting training for applicants and permittees in the following sectors: (more…)
